Now Peaceful Protesting
used to happen, in the better days.
But now Bad People join that protest
and it becomes illegal.

The Conservatives are bringing in
new laws.

we were complaining about what China was doing in hong kong a few weeks ago, now it's happening here. There is no circumstance where this is good

We are Nothing like China.

And let's keep it that way.

If a country ends up doing things comparable to any communist or fascist state, maybe it's not exactly a good thing?

...this is government approved cancel culture...the very thing that we surely would abhor and oppose...

As I said on the other thread.
A Cancer Patient in Pain
stopped from getting to their Hospital appointment
by a Blockage on a Bridge.

Matters more than a Green Bunch of protestors.

Ah even causes I agree with I don't think roads should be blocked. Apart from the likes of Downing Street lol.

It should certainly be banned in any city centre

These days they are just excuses to abuse police officers

dutch PM Rutte has stated his opinion on protesting many times already on this particular subject

it is good for democracy you have a right to peacefully protest, we should not take that away from the people, but he also said we are against rioting that that has nothing to do with protesting, but more attention seeking behaviour

in many of his covid press statements too

You know it's funny, a lot of Tory Voters love a bit of flag wankery, they love wheeling out the troops to heap praise on them that's only meant to make themselves feel better, but then some of these people will come out and support the tories in presenting this bill which just represents another lurch towards dictatorship, spitting in the faces of all who have sacrificed for us to have the rights we have. They have a sycophantic 'reverence' for the military, yet they'll gladly piss over their sacrifices as long as Boris supports it.
