I can only read in bed. Can't sit up and read a book. Can't concentrate like that.
I read nearly every night.
I go through phases. Wish I did it more but get too distracted, mainly by my phone. When I really like a book I'll prob read for half an hour a day or something like that but I probably only read a book every month or two atm. Favourite place to read is in the bath or when it's a nice day out in the garden
I hadn't ready anything recently for a few weeks but a few days ago I got into reading Raymond Carver short stories and I've been demolishing those. All of them are only 10/15 minute reads so it's easy to dip in and out

never fancied a Kindle. Much prefer a physical actual book.
Kindles are great
I still buy actual books sometimes but the kindle is actually really good to read and I love the benefit of being able to highlight sections I like or look up anything that's mentioned. Also how it introduces you to a lot of books you'd never hear of otherwise and how you can download a decent size sample of any book before you buy it

books are ungainly and without very good bedside lighting, bad for your eyes - paperbacks being the worst. Plus with a Kindle you can browse and download samples of books you hear and read about daily. the advantages are numerous

I read most nights....have read loads during lockdown...same as you though Kate, I rarely read downstairs and prefer a physical book to an ebook....(and I do have an excellent reading ligjt ).
....I never read in bed, I always read before I go to bed in the evenings.../...sometimes during the day...and a mixture of books plus I download onto my iPad as well...I also love Scarlett’s series of stories/books as well, which I read here...
Strangely enough, I've never read a book since lockdown either.

I used to read loads, I'd spend hours at a time reading, then life got busy and screens came along so i only really read a lot on holiday then covid came along .......... Once I actually start a book I fly through it, I have one ready to go which I will start this weekend, it's one my brother recommended, not my usual thing, I like fiction but I'll give it a go, it's called The Coddling of the American Mind

I often read biographies. Not into fiction. But read occasional non fiction. :)

I've just recently got into audio books, I spend a lot of time driving so I decided to get the months free trial with audible last month, I'm on my 5th book in 4 weeks, I love it, I'll definitely be keeping the subscription going, it's great value, it's £7.99 I think per month, you get one free book with that but there's a lot of books on there that are free with your subscription, I've only paid for one book so far, currently I'm on Book 3 of a detective series by Helen Durrant

All the time, and wherever I am
I'm more of a reader than a watcher.

I like to read on my kindle in bed but I have a terrible habit of starting books and then I get distracted and months later when I finally feel like reading again I start another one and the cycle continues…

I try to most nights before bed.
I probably do most of my reading on the train, I commute a lot for work.

Depends. Chronicles of Narnia they missed books when they made them in chronological order. Harry Potter books are nothing like the films. Frances Hodgson Burnett's books like The Secret Garden the 1993 film was better than the 2020 remake.
