Given the sheer number of his previous addictions and how often they nearly killed him, I'm not surprised the medication would have an adverse effect like this.
He was incredibly unhealthy in the first picture in the OP, it's worth pointing out... but judgmental people will just see it and go "wow he used to be so skinny :) what happened :)"

Yeah :joker: although to be fair, “middle aged man puts on weight” is actually even less shocking of a headline. Elderly people can go the other way a bit.
To be fair to him though, we’re a year into COVID times and in the midst of a long lockdown, a lot of people are in need of a haircut and cutting down on the cheese on toast

His tum looks less flabby and more solid. Sign of liver trouble. :hee:
...it’s so DM to publish quite an unflattering pic...this is quite a nice one of him, I think....

...he seems at so much a better place in his life atm, living in France with his girlfriend ...he says that his guilty pleasure is sleeping because for so many years he found sleep so difficult and would be awake night and day...but now his body is obviously adjusting to a much healthier wellbeing ...I wish him well.....

I’m going to echo what others have said about him looking healthier in the second pic.
Not the most flattering pic and lockdown has been a cruel source of weight gain for a lot of us.
