Personally I'll wear shoes everywhere in my penthouse because i hate walking around bare foot, I even wear flip flops in my own shower haha. The bf is always telling me off so I make an effort to walk around in my socks most of the time.

I take mine off as soon as I'm inside. I don't make visitors take theirs off though.

...I take mine off because I usually put my feet on the sofa when I sit down...
