With hopefully the light at the end of the tunnel of covid. Despite the fact it will still always be around and affect people more is understood about it now and we have a vaccine

What if a completely different pandemic came? Would it be all full lockdown again or are the restrictions in place going to prevent ever going down that route again ?

Also as a side point do we really believe the government when they say the steps and roadway out is irreversible or could a fatal wave happen?

we would all need a new vaccine for a start to deal with it. I dont think it is cast in stone that there won't be a third wave.

I think it would depend on the severity of whatever new virus came

And the roadmap isn’t irreversible, I don’t think there’ll be another deadly wave, but there’ll definitely be an increase now that people can mix, I think May will go ahead as normal but June will be delayed

What a depressing thought ~ not even thinking about it .

It’s not an “if”, it’s. “when”. There being 100 years between this one and the last global pandemic was largely down to luck. The conditions for new viruses to develop, thrive and spread are ever-increasing so... COVID-19 will not be the last.

The size of the worlds population has done us in this time, we have to live witht this..we have to live with the statistics.

I give it 5/6 weeks and we are looking at a serious wave of new Indian covid this time.

we have had a few lucky escapes in recent years, so yes, i think we should start getting used to them
