It was always going to happen she isn’t experienced enough to hosting a full daytime show, she has only done small sketches/stints for comedy. As a serious presenter she doesn’t work, and I like Allison also but this just isn’t her role and it’ll actually damage her popularity

The thing with Alison is that she sees a funny side to everything...which is why she will never be seen as being Professional.
She was perfect with her interviews but serious debates are not what she is about.
I just read another viewer spoke to their Vet about their cat who have started going to a neighbour who feeds it....and Alison piped in with "Get another cat.." :hehe:

There isn't a single TV presenter who was amazing in their first job. You need to grow into it like any other job or you don't grow. She's probably incredibly nervous.
I did watch today and it was a tad awkward in places. She's trying to keep everything going like a presenter should. I have faith she'll get better given the chance.
Eamonn and Ruth were boring af, I'm glad they're gone. Eamonn made a huge deal about announcing he was going to be a granddad the other day as if any viewer gave a ****e.

I think little things like mixing up names is pretty normal and I do like her.

I did cringe today when she laughed at the dog having a phantom pregnancy though, it's pitiful to watch, my aunties spaniel had one and it was heartbreaking to see.

Even when Phil was presenting with Fern , I remember them doing their 'coming up next ' segment in an ad break ,and I'm sure they had the giggles over men getting breast cancer.

They couldn't say the topic without giggling for some reason. So even if they didn't mean to laugh at it , was still inappropriate .

It was YEARS AGO in the Fern Britton days . I doubt I'll be able to find it :rolleyes: .

It was in the ad break in the 'coming up next' bit , which was literally 30 seconds, when presenters tell you a quick summary of what's on the show that particular day.
