Red and I just found out the sex of our baby.

Between us we already have 3 girls (and 2 female cats) and come November there shall be another one to add to the family :cheer2:

Red must really love the ladies :cheer:

Congratulations, I can remember finding out I was having a girl when I was pregnant, my bloke's outnumbered at the moment with 2 women in the house (although we have a male dog so I suppose that evens things up a bit).

I'm getting lots of male white mice to even things up, if I can stop the cats eating them.

Rats then they will scare the pants off the cats, that's if cat wore pants.

Red Moon
28-06-2007, 11:10 AM
Cats...... I need 6 of them all with there bits thank you. I need to balance the hormone levels in the house and male cats without bits wouldn't do the trick.

28-06-2007, 11:13 AM
No way buster....... cats with bits smell :hugesmile:

Red Moon

Great..... that's 12 white mice we get in November which should allow for a bit of natural wastage while we work out security arrangements with the cats.

And birds and mice if they they could get close enough to them. I don't trust those cats they have big eyes, sharp claws and very big teeth.

Anyway..... thank you for all the congratulations.

The first thing that popped in to my head when i read this thread was the Monty Python, Meaning of Life sketch.

"the miracal of birth, part 1!

Woman having just had baby. "is it a boy or a girl?"

Doctor. "don't you think it is a little early to be imposing roles on it?"

I love that film

"All things dull and ugly, all creatures short and squat. All things rude and nasty, the Lord God made the lot."

That's great kizwiz. Nothing like some good news to spur you along. I think us men often forget just how long and exhausting the whole process can be,but I certainly wish you well for the remaining few months.

You can count yourself lucky Red, my sister has 5 boys . I also have a friend with 4 girls and he lives the life of Riley,or at least nowadays he does. I guess you will just have to get used to all things pink. lol

Each little snake that poisons,
Each little wasp that stings,
He made their prudish venom,
He made their horrid wings.

All things sick and cancerous,
All evil great and small,
All things foul and dangerous,
The Lord God made them all.

Each nasty little hornet,
Each beastly little squid,
Who made the spiky urchin?
Who made the sharks? He did!

All things scant and ulcerous,
All pox both great and small,
Putrid, foul and gangrenous,
The Lord God made them all.

Amen.

Every sperm is sacred.
Every sperm is great.
If a sperm is wasted,
God gets quite irate.

Wanted to put the penis song but thought better of it.

This will have to do.

Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And reolving at nine thousand miles an hour.
It's orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it's reckoned,
'Round the sun that is the source of all our power.
Now the sun, and you and me, and all the stars that we can see,
Are moving at a million miles a day,
In the outer spiral arm, at fourteen thousand miles an hour,
Of a galaxy we call the Milky Way.

Our galaxy itself contains a hundred million stars;
It's a hundred thousand light-years side to side;
It bulges in the middle sixteen thousand light-years thick,
But out by us it's just three thousand light-years wide.
We're thirty thousand light-years from Galactic Central Point,
We go 'round every two hundred million years;
And our galaxy itself is one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe.

Our universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding,
In all of the directions it can whiz;
As fast as it can go, that's the speed of light, you know,
Twelve million miles a minute and that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth;
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere out in space,
'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth!

Congratulations.

Speaking as a mum who has one of each variety I'm certainly finding my daughter the hardest right now. She's a teenage hormonal horror at times who's due home from clarinet ensemble any minute and I will get shouted at because I've made her walk home and she's going to be wet! :bigsmile: (Sorry it's called revenge for her not getting up for school on time all week).

Ah yes you have all of this to come you lucky lucky twosome. Here have some flowers :flowers:
On a lighter note you will also have some great fun taking your girls shopping, having girly nights in/out as they grow older and sharing manicures, (that's you Kizwiz unless there's something about Red we do not know?), meals out and fun filled times too.

:spin:It is great being a parent. :bouncy:
