...yeah I’m totally with you there, Seth...I find a Birmingham accent a very warm and open/welcoming accent...hmmmm, I’m not sure that I agree with Northern Ireland, though...my dad was a Northern man and his accent was very soft and very calming and soothing, really beautiful..... I loved it and everyone we knew always said the same as well...that they could listen to him forever...
...I like most accents, they’re part of who people are...

I do find accents to be a really interesting subject because yes, it is part of your identity. It shows where you've grown up during the most formative years, what type of people you've hung around with etc and can even be a cue to certain personality traits.
More people need to put South African as their favourite accents. :suspect:
...let’s have a shout out for New Zealandish and Canadian as well......also Italian......otherwise our lovely Italian Vanessa might curse us with a thousand Italian curses...

I dated a guy last month just because he had an Irish accent and beautiful blue eyes... we had nothing in common so I had to end it... but it was hard because when he looked and me and spoke I forgot everything... so I ended it via text lol
Also Scottish. David Tennant though... I could listen to him all day.
