[Harry and Meghan, 39, are
Campaign Chairs of Vax Live, which
'aims to inspire vaccine confidence worldwide
and help get the COVID-19 vaccines to everyone,
everywhere' - according to Global Citizen.
In promoting the event organizers said the
Duke and Duchess of Sussex would
deliver 'an important global message for vaccine equity'.
Meghan, who is several months' pregnant with
the couple's second child, trusted Harry
to share that message on her behalf
as she stayed home on Sunday.
In his address
Harry said: 'Tonight is a celebration of
each of you here, the vaccinated frontline
workers in the audience and the millions
of frontline heroes around the world.]

The anti-vax movement is dangerous at the best of times, never mind in times of a pandemic, anyone who uses their voice to convince others to believe in science rather than misinformation is doing good.

Getting 2 liars to plug the safety of a vaccine, surely cant be the brightest idea ever.

Should have known there would be a couple on here to have a dig. Some people just can’t let go of their hatred

 not hatred, if you say you want to keep a low profile, stick to your word
rather than attending a irrelevant concert
Glenn.

It’s not an irrelevant concert Nicky. It’s about a vaccine and getting people vaccinated during a worldwide pandemic.

i just read the chance of side effects being higher at younger people
so i'm more scared of the vaccine than the virus itself
and once you had the vaccine you're stuck with it every single year, so not too keen on that either

Nicky no offense, and by all means you are entitled to your opinion but as somebody who has worked on the front line through the pandemic and seen people pass away and watched healthy people basically waste away your blasé attitude is quite upsetting.

Go on a ventilator struggling for oxygen and see what your opinion is

Nicky... I've seen you say this a few times and I'm wondering if you think that once you've had the vaccine, you HAVE to have follow-ups or something bad will happen? Just to clarify... nothing will happen... there may be follow-ups to keep the vaccine being effective but if you had it now, then decided not to have it later, nothing would actually happen ... you're not "stuck having it", you can just say "No not interested this time" if offered a booster in a year.

i can only speak for myself though, i never really go anywhere, most of the time i am at home in my room
and i have respect for all front line workers
but yes to everyone else who got very active social lives, should all take the vaccine

I get that, but also people with learning disabilities are up to six times more likely to die from COVID.

It's totally up to you Nicky. I'd never push you to get it but I've vaccinated hundreds and not seen any side effects from the vaccine itself, only a few scared of needles.
