At that time he killed loads
of UK troops.
He was shot in the back.

The Family say he should have been arrested
as he did not have any arms.
The 2 troops would not know that.

The Evidence from years back could not be used.

The Solicitor for the Family

it was right given the circumstances that the evidence was collected, that this didn't go any further. We had plenty stitch ups that were quashed in the other direction, and i see this as a similar thing. It's not a comment on someone's ultimate innocence or guilt, but the practices back then by the police were less than desirable

A Coroner has ruled that 10 people killed in shootings
in Ballymurphy Belfast in 1971
were totally innocent.
