Can you think of any weird or funny things that always happen in rom coms? .

The weirdest one for me is how stalking is portrayed as something 'cute' and 'romantic' , when the guy is clearly being disturbing and creepy :umm2: .

Oh one that annoys me is you often have the beautiful girl eventually see passed the over weight or not particularly attractive but very nice guy never happens in reverse though (besides Shallow Hal but tbf as much as I love Jack Black he's not exactly a typically trim and handsome lead himself)

Yeah, when it's the other way around the girl has to undergo "the makeover" to become drop dead gorgeous, rather than be loved for the way she looked before.

Like Sandy in Grease who suddenly has to wear a leotard and act the complete opposite to herself to get his attention.
