Dr. Chris Smith
speaking this time in the BBC London Studio
confirmed so many are not getting Flu
due to having Masks on and staying home more.
The Flu Vaccine is made from samples
that are not around.
So no Flu Vaccine is being made yet.

I'd agree, I actually don't think I'll stop using masks now.
I've not had so much as a sniffle since starting to use one.
once we start mixing again properly come june/july, there will be plenty virus's other than covid that we will have lost immunity to that everyone will catch

Yes
except those that keep a mask on
after July.

Yeah I think a while ago they realised that social distancing/hand hygiene is a hard slog at bringing down Covid transmission rates, but it turns out AMAZING at reducing flu transmission rates.
Which is good news if the next severe pandemic is a flu strain :umm2:.

Nah not after a year/18 months... 3+ years until you'd start seeing a noticeable difference in "general immunity levels".
Infants are another matter though so I do think people should be careful there - early mixing and passing bugs around is an important part of "kick starting" immunity and babies who were 1 or under at the start of lockdown 1, or born during the pandemic, may be getting a lot less mixing than "normal".
Probably not a huge deal but might mean more childhood sniffles.
