When my friend married the love of my life using my ring, and they made me be the vicar. I was 6, and the pain still burns deep.

My friend had a pair of shoes I coveted, and this other girl has a pair of boots I salivated over

When I was younger, any sport of sporting ability cos I was terrible at Football and people only ever played Football :(. However at about 14 I discovered that I was one of the only half-decent basketball players in our year group at high school so just leaned into that for 4 years :joker:.

What is there to be jealous of when you’re perfect? :smug:
I never got one of those pick n mix sweet shop toys, and still find myself on the verge of buying one, so probably that

The girl next door.....she was older, cooler, prettier..everything I wanted to be
She always let me tag along with her and pretty much tolerated my presence for the whole of my childhood, gave me her cool stuff once she was bored of it, taught me how to do makeup (I looked like a clown but it didn't matter )
She's one of my best friends now, still cooler than me but I've accepted that now

Ahh, don't think like that.
You must know by now that everyone is cooler than you, not just the girl next door. :smug:
