You started well and overall looked the better team and their goalie made a couple of great saves so you were a bit unlucky....I also think their 2nd goal pretty much deflated the team.

i've been a scotland supporter for too many years to take any of it seriously. We have shown no evidence that we can put the ball in the net, so winning any match is a bit of a tall order :laugh:

We moved the ball around well and i think we have performed in line with our current ranking which is participating in the tournament. That's our level as a team at the moment, which is a step forward from where we have been for the last 20 years, but we are far from being a football force in europe :laugh:

England on the other hand will need to step up significantly if they are to come close to current expectations. I thought Gareth was interesting last night saying ... it's a young team etc etc. Preparing the way for a less than successful tournament

they have their rules. So much about the isolation system seems to be particularly ridiculous, but they all agreed to the procedures specifically within football for it to be allowed to continue during the pandemic
