After watching the highlights show last night and seeing Ziggy ask to leave, I was left wondering if the relationship with Chanelle has yet another troubleseome third member?

ZIGGY'S EGO!

He came across as genuinely upset when asking to leave but I could not work out if this was more of a bruised ego speaking or what it was? He is always fearful for what people think on the outside and his gigantic ego will not allow himself to enjoy the experience and he would not even speak to Chanelle about how he felt? More worryingly, he does not consider Chanelle his 'mate' and even when talking about her he speaks of her in a derogatory way which is more like speaking of a little sister. Is there a third person in this relationship that will not even allow Ziggy to be happy let alone enjoy his relationship with Chanelle?

Has anyone else spotted this MASSIVE ego and can Ziggy keep it hidden from Chanelle because it appears to be creeping out?

Do you think Chanelle may be seeing signs of this huge gigantic ego shadow lurking in the background and is beginning to change towards Ziggy?:puzzled:

Should Ziggy's ego be considered a separate housemate?:banana:

I was thinking the same to be honest.

I'm not quite sure that I've seen a housemate who seems to be so bothered about every little situation that involves them and how it's going to effect the public's opinion of them.It seems that he's far more concerned about how he's coming off and what people will say about him than anyone else and that's certainly includes Chanelle.Afterall he was prepared to call things off with Chanelle over his paranoia.

I feel that Chanelle's not really aware of how much his ego dictates his thoughts.

I find it slightly odd how he let the accusation of someone he earlier had called a nutcase get to him so much.He really cannot be that comfortable with himself or being with Chanelle.Other's would merely laugh it off or just fight back.
