[Imran Ahmad Khan, 47, the Conservative MP for Wakefield,
West Yorkshire, is alleged to have groped the teenager in Staffordshire.
Ahmad Khan, who was elected at the 2019 general election,
appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court
on Thursday by video-link from his lawyers’ office.
He can be named on Friday after reporting restrictions were lifted.
Ahmad Khan, from Wakefield, faces a single count of sexual assault
against the teenager, who cannot be identified because
he is an alleged victim of a sexual offence, in 2008.]

…there’s not really much to comment on until his trial and the verdict…it’s a serious charge, his politics have no bearing to me and wouldn’t whatever party he represents…if he is guilty of this charge then I hope that’s what the justice system finds …and if he’s innocent, I hope that’s what it finds as well…

I agree.

It's why I hold off commenting until much more is known and more fully substantiated via a trial.

However too, there's clearly enough known or believed as to evidence so as to charge him.
Which in public service areas of his work, he maybe ought not be permitted to carry on duties there, until after the trial and verdict.
He would be dealing with families as an MP after all.
