And by that I mean are there certain aspects of your personality which don’t match the labels associated with you (e.g., are you a self-confessed introvert who actually likes small talk and loud parties)? Are you low-key overall but brash In certain situations?

I'm gay but have no love for Britney Spears, Madonna, Beyonce and all them other auto tuned hoes. Give me Nightwish and heavy metal any day.

Unlike most gay guys I actually know how to dress stylishly and don't have a mouldy green coloured pixie cut with threaded eyebrows.

Plenty of gay guys (down-low) are as masculine as they come so what you’re saying isn’t surprising. Only a certain minority are properly camp.

I’m a rugby dude but I’m not a hot headed, brutal or savage person. I also don’t get drunk every time I play and fight people in pubs with my mates or act idiotic or loud. (though it’s kind of what I lived during my teenage years, but I’m wiser now) The whole «*hard game hard men*» kind of bs.
I sometimes came across people who thought I was just that when I told them. Not that it hurts but it’s still annoying. It’s even better when I tell them I married a man  which completely messes up with their stereotypes or what a rugby lad should be.

I feel like 90% of gay guys in my city actively try to be as feminine as possible which... is the opposite of what I'm into, and since gay men are attracted to me idk how these fairy boys expect to pick up other gay men. It's a ****ed up paradox.

I'm well-read and a big-thinker and I understand and love exploring the stuff of high-concept academics, philosophy, psychology etc.

...but I absolutely love trash TV. Love it. The trashier the better. Kardashians? Yes please. Love at first sight? Give me more! Geordie Shore? Ex On The Beach? ... Big Brother ...? Fill me right up, sir. Stretch me out with that utter junk.

I’m introvert-leaning (compared to the average person) but I prefer small talk to deep conversation (as I alluded to in the OP). Probably because deep thoughts aren’t as easy to formulate on-the-spot so those things are typically best expressed in writing. I’m also more spontaneous and flexible than the stereotypical introvert (who like to systemise/order things more).
