The writing is so much fun in this game like the random encounters (the guy with the axe stuck in his head, the crazy cat lady, the guy who got thrown out of the nudist colony, the guy that wouldn’t have a bath coz he thought his stench was key to him winning battles, t’list goes on xD)

Like i don’t remember origins or odyssey ever making me laugh like valhalla has

I really enjoyed it, although it's such a long game, by the end I was getting frustrated and left most of the territories untouched apart from the main missions. I'm slowly going back and completing everything, as I might platinum this game.

The best mystery is a Keith from the prodigy one, in suthsexe.

I came across the first one around lvl 20. As it was in the low region I just thought this was another mystery type easy bout, and then I got murdered in about 3 seconds

I did enjoy "Old Man on the Edge" in the first area.

...where a guy asks you to yeet all of his stuff off a cliff, and then proceeds to take a running jump off the cliff himself. "To Asgard! Thank yooouuuuuu!!" :joker:

"Thor's hammer... THAT was a shock..."

It was a fun game, but I hope they start making AC games a little shorter, at least in the main story

I think a choice needs to be made, essentially... Long main story but limited side content, or shorter and more focussed main story that you could blitz through but plenty of "well fleshed out" side content for those who want it.

I actually think it's a shame when real effort has been put into the side content to make it fun/lots of variation, but the main story is such a long slog that many people are done with the game by the time it's over and won't stick around to see that work. Either that or people "get their fill" of the game from the side content and never actually finish the story. I'm looking at you, Skyrim, which I have never finished, with 400 hours logged :joker:.

The Witcher 3 had the same issue, in having a long main quest AND a lot of lengthy side-content.
