yes I did when I was younger in Ireland and when I came to the UK first
tbf most of the customers were okay, I worked in a small Irish town so everyone knew each other mainly
in the UK I worked in Debenhams in the Restaurant and we used to have a great laugh at some of the regulars who came in every day, best job ever!
Great social life too, the times I staggered home after we went to the pub for just one after work ...good times

I worked in the Bakery Section of a Supermarket when I was a teenager, I don't remember having many issues with the Customers tbh

I worked in a very busy pub for a couple of years.
No real issues tbh and Friday, Saturday night we'd have security anyway.
Not a fan of people shouting me down or flagging me down to get served first though. They got ignored.

A Pub isn't retail, that's hospitality

Just sayin' :idc:
I did bar work for a couple of years too though, I loved it, the hours were a bit **** though, worked split shifts everyday but the good thing was it was very much a weekday bar because it was nearer to businesses so I had weekends off which is unusual for bar work

I worked in a petrol station for a couple of years whilst at college. I loved it. The men coming in to browse the "top shelf" magazines always made me laugh. I used to pretend I couldn't find the price and shout to someone to ask the price of "Big Busty Babes"

It's all customer service though ,whether you're serving drinks or working on a check out counter.

I was a cashier for a company similar to poundland and home bargains a few years ago. Unfortunately during my time we were getting told we were getting shut down and it was just before Christmas so people were coming in thinking they were entitled to nearly everything on the cheap. ****ing ghouls.

I don’t suppose customers;
“trying to sell stolen electrical goods to other customers”,
“passing out from too much valium”
or
“Literally ****ting themselves”
… are high in the list for most retail workers.
To be fair the worst I saw was when I was deputy manager, busy Saturday and some chav spat at a girl who was working on the shop floor. Right in her face. My manager at the time went absolutely ****ing through the roof, I swear he had murder in his eyes, the guy took one look at him and fled the shop. Never saw him again so either he was sufficiently scared, or the manager tracked him down later :umm2:

I worked in asda while I was in college and hated it.
I got threatened and sworn at multiple times and people are so impatient.
