Have you been pinged?
What did you do
DO you have this app?
DOuble-jabbed: do you care about it?
-----------
Some companies currently have between 5% and 10% of their workforce
isolating after being pinged by the NHS COVID-19 app, a leading industry figure
says.
More than half a million people in England were pinged by the Test and Trace
app in a week, the highest figure recorded.

I deleted this it's pathetic
I've deleted it.
I also txt old moss chops, J O B this morning about this.
So if you were in a pub at the weekend and you recieve the dreaded ping on Monday or Tuesday. You then have to do the ten days self isolation(SI) or sometimes less, depending on the speed of ping.
So what happens to the bar staff? Do they get pinged? Do they have to self isolate?
Does the pub open up on monday for one day, then have to close for ten?
He didnt even mention it, hes lucky its hamster day or I would be mentioning his james whale like cheeks.

Yes Reports 1 in 5 have deleted it
i installed it once because i thought i needed it to get into a bar, but i bypassed the location registration and then 10 mins later deleted the app. I work from home anyway and get food delivered where the driver keeps his distance, so i'm not a risk to anyone external
I deleted it cause I took the huff at the lack of pingage.

Never downloaded it...very early on my neighbours were pinged they had been in Marks Cafe and one of the staff tested positive so everyone in the restaurant that day was pinged if they had the app, I would download it if I was working outside the home ..seems like a great way to get time off

I broke my phone and have been using what was my daughter’s iPhone (her aunt have her a brand new iPhone XS and she decided she prefers android so went back to her Galaxy S9… lol) and I only intended to use it temporarily so I didn’t bother getting the app… and that was 4 months ago… :umm2:
I've re downloaded it today, I've decided to do my bit to conquer this.

A family of four sits and stares at their broken telly, desperate to watch the Olympics. A single tear runs down the mother's face, whilst the father clenches his jaw and tries not to look at the disappointment on their faces. The room is littered with his tools; he tried... but he couldn't help them. His throat hurts from the tension of his failure. There's a knock at the door and the children's faces light up briefly in hope; but it's just an Amazon delivery. Plastic gold medals for the kids to play "Olympics" with - they've been looking forward to this all year, some days it was the only thing that could cheer them up, especially since Granny cut all in-person contact, relegated to just another face on Zoom. "Where is the telly repair man mummy??" they choke through stifled sobs... but all she can say is "I don't know".
"I... just don't know, kids."
A chorus of smartphones ping across the city. This is Summer 2021.
