I wasn't aware his name was under an injunction, since it was all over Twitter last night yeah.

I'm sure we should wait until the investigation is concluded but I just can't really imagine something this severe and sickening being instigated unless there was a crumb of truth to it (obviously it's possible but it'd be such an appalling and random accusation to make without any proof)

Laws are there to be upheld, our media will be dying to name him, but not at the cost of breaching the injunction.

Every person has the right to a fair trial and is considered innocent until proven guilty. The courts have a duty of care to protect the accused until then.

Don't get me wrong, if he is guilty he deserves all he gets and more but there has to be a fair trial....the victims deserve that far more than he does.

It is a double edged sword as the finger of suspicion also points at other, innocent people so it would be easier if the.media DID name him as we have already had one player who has been wrongly named on social media and that kind of accusation can ruin lives.

As it is though, our media cannot break the law.
