Got a pixel 5 and the motherboard burnt out after 3 months. You’d think I ‘d have learned my lesson - years ago I had a pixel 3 and it was slow as **** and I sold it. Never again Google.

If you feel a small patch on the back getting hot turn it OFF because that is, apparently, part of the mainboard ****ing melting :idc:. Not repairable :fist:.

Have to say my favourite phone so far was my Huwwy P20 Pro. Pity they got banned from Google services for being Chinese spies or whatever.

To my great shame... I started using my daughter's iPhone XS when the Pixel died, her aunt gave it to her just on a whim... but she didn't like it and went back to her S9 the spoiled brat.

It gets worse though - after a couple of months using it I actually really like it :worry:. Fast, responsive, nice screen, and I love Face ID. I always said I'd never have an iPhone but here we are.
