I think that is because the group have normally gelled before they arrive with themselves and the viewers, that is not the case this year so they are in with as much of a chance as each other.

Actually, I hadn’t noticed, but I do think it’s a coincidence to be honest – some newcomers have had really good chances (Aisleyne and Eugene being prime examples), but it’s simply their personalities and fan-bases that held them back, just like other housemates.

I don’t think that just because some housemates arrive a couple of days later they should have a disadvantage – based on their times in the house, they still deserve it. I can’t see things changing in this particular series though, as it seems to be tradition… some latecomers have a good enough chance I guess, but I can see there being a female winner (quite biased this year with there being an all-girl house to begin with, however I guess it would be pretty good to see another female win for a change).
