Do you love a natter on the phone or are you strictly text only?

It depends on my mood personally sometimes I will happily gab on the phone for hours with my sisters or mother in law etc but mostly I can't be arsed and will literally watch my phone ringing then text back and say 'what is it?' :idc:

I have to be in the mood, my sister in law always rings about 9 in the evening it used to be as late as 10pm then you think something is wrong, hard to be chatty at that hour for me :idc:

Don't really do either much anymore, I use whatsapp or messenger mostly, I do use the phone more than texts though usually to talk to Gav, my kids or my mom

I use both
I think you only ignore phone calls when it’s from someone you know just wants a gossip and will take about the same crap as usual.

I don't mind the phone with close family or friends as long as its not early morning or late evening. I'm not chatty on the phone though, I'd rather talk in person.
We Whatsapp quite a lot.

Oh yeah WhatsApp only, the only annoyance is my sister and I have to set a time or she will be offline so very little spontaneity

Our landline gets cold calls only now but it’s part of our media packages can’t get rid as it would cost more :idc:

it depends really, if there is information to exchange then a call is easier. It's a lot of 1 finger typing for me to say anything substantial

Depends really. I can rarely be bothered with messaging, almost never check the apps :joker: if anyone actually has something to say, I'd rather have a natter on the phone. If it's just endless loops of "hows u", they can send it to one of the apps I've deleted

Depending on the situation.
Texts can be tricky because sometimes you don't get the full view of what is happening, the tone etc To me it's like emails at work: sometimes you need to pick up the phone and stop sorting things by writing texts or emails. A full conversation gets things done quicker.

I love talking to my mum, dad, sister and in-laws on the phone because we respect each other's time and we get to laugh which is always fun. We don't even have a group chat which I know a lot of families do have.

With my husband and friends, we text because we all work a lot and don't have time. And basically we share memes and silly content or setup drinks/dinners anyway so texting is fine for that.
And if my husband calls, 90% is related to him being lost in the supermarket or can't remember the password from our joint bank account.

Text hubby, doctors etc.
Everyone else is either a phone call or the fb messenger.
We all love a good chat.
