no argument here

Only one that comes close is Mick Jagger. Wouldn't count Elvis since he was a solo act.

James Hetfield - Metallica

Still leading the band and touring 40 years later !!

This guy has LIVED !!

Rated one of the best guitarists of all time despite being self taught in his dad’s garage ... still can’t read or write music yet classical conductors have praised his song structures

Couldn’t agree more…

can go agreeing with what has been said, but i'll give a few shoutouts to who i personally think are fab lead artists (still just my own opinions)

Harry Wayne Casey (KC & Sunshine Band)

Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers)

Selena Gomez (Selena Gomez & The Scene, i actually liked her music with the band more than now)

even though Chic doesn't technically count as for frontman, but Nile Rodgers, had many many hits with that group and also has hits nowadays which says a lot about his great musical talent i think

but also a great frontman needs a great team, so yes the mentions of Freddie Mercury i can't argue against, but all of the work with Queen, was a team effort on writing and producing the songs, coming up with the live performance ideas etc

yes Freddie had good solo work as well (Living on my own a great bop), as well as that phenomenal duet (Barcelona)

did i forget to mention anyone in my list, oh yes

Don Henley of The Eagles (great songwriter himself, for both the band and his own solo work with a great hit ''the boys of summer'')
