[In character: Steve Coogan is playing
the role of DCI Clive Driscoll - who put together
an investigation that secured the convictions
of the two gang members]

This was an Evil Racist Murder

It starts on Episode 1
after his death.

I thought they could show him leaving the house (at least)
not the Evil murder bit of him. (that would be too much)

Strange way to start this.

[Investigation in 2006 - 13 years after Stephen was killed
by a gang of white men in Eltham, South London in 1993.]

I understand it's about the much later Investigation
but it still needed a base to start, in my view.

Once Driscoll
tells his team
One Copper tells him he is Out
and will get transferred.

Boris Johnson spoken about while he was going for mayor,
as well.

We watched this last night...it’s set 13 years after the murder so I think it’s been sensitively done, we don’t need flashbacks, there cant be many who don’t know Stephens story

All in all I thought the acting was superb and Coogan is great in that role

I thought he'd have been hard to take seriously, but I didn't see Alan Partridge at all. Superb, indeed!
