Which actor just didn't suit their film/TV role?

I haven't actually watched the movie so I can't entirely judge it ,but I always thought Natalie Portman being cast as Jackie Kennedy was the most bizarre of choices. But I always found portman's acting weak . I actually think Helena Bonham carter would have been amazing in that role.
Ben Affleck as batman is another weird flat choice, I just don't think he has much charisma to fill such big shoes, not a fan of his.And there's much better actors out there.
Kristen Stewart as Snow white , poor choice and her acting is always wooden and boring.

Gotta disagree with you there - at first I was dubious about Portman being cast as Jackie O but honestly after the first few scenes I was sucked in. She even got Jackie’s weird broken/almost robotic accent and voice down to a T.
Recommend you watch the movie GH - it’s fantastically heart-wrenching.
The scenes just after “the assassination” where Jackie is literally holding her husband’s head almost together on her lap whilst speeding to the hospital covered in blood and all sorts is just horrific. You never think about what happened when the car left the parade after the shooting - but it was that, the long ride to the hospital that must have felt like an eternity. Just harrowing.

I haven't seen the Film tbf, but Jason Mamoa being Aquaman feels like an odd choice to me because I personally feel like he would've made for an interesting Batman.
I also personally think that Jacquin Phoenix looks like he is doing a poor version of The Joker.

Well i did say i haven't watched 'Jackie' yet , but i've just never been wowed by Portman's performances.
I understand what you're saying , i can imagine the assassination scene will be very upsetting and emotional because it was such a horrific thing to happen. And the ride to the hospital must have been utter torture.
Lacey Turner as Stacey Slater just didn't suit her role.

I never liked Tom Cruise as Lestat in Interview with the Vampire. I had read the books and he was the last person I would ever have pictured as Lestat and he doesn't suit being a Vampire. Brad Pitt surprisingly fit well

Batman? Really? I could not imagine him as Batman. I think he really suits the Aquaman role, he has a very Island/Surfer vibe about him so a water superhero really suits him i think
As for Joaquin Phoenix was outstanding in the Joker role. Did you watch it? He wasn't really playing the Joker as we know him, more of a man's descent into madness through his messed up upbringing and life. he was phenomenal in the role tbf to him

I felt the same with Marlon Brando cast as The Godfather ,after reading the book i thought he was a dreadful choice and i hated the film , stupid cottton wool in his cheeks and and mumbled through all of it.

I'm not sure I ever sat through any of those films fully (I'm sure I'll get slated for that) just not my cup of tea at all

I think that I'm basing my opinion on Jason Mamoa's acting off of Stargate Atlantis where he was probably their darkest character in terms of content out of the heroes.
And I haven't watched Joker, I'm sure it's a decent Film, it just doesn't feel remotely related to the Batman universe though from what the trailers were showing. And to me The Joker has a certain vibe going for him that would've been fun to watch lead his own Film, imo Joaquin Phoenix version looks like a totally different character which brings me to the question of why adapt something if the creators of the product don't seem to respect the legacy of the character they're adapting?

Momoa really makes Aquaman his own character, to be fair, I don’t think he’s similar at all to the “classic” portrayal of the character but most people think of the comics character as a bit of a joke. The gruff/cocky Momoa version fits as a movie lead far better.
Phoenix’s joker… sigh… it’s a tough one. He plays a great character, really convincingly unhinged. It’s not The Joker though… or anything even similar. He should be called… Inceltron… or something…
Then again the Jared Leto joker is awful as well.

Well yeah, it wasn't at all like a Super Hero film but it was a really good film on its own and Joaquin Phoenix played the part he was given fantastically well so he wasn't wrong for the part he played it superbly

Oh I'm probably more likely to be won over by Momoa's performance than Phoenix performance.
I'm probably being biased because I like other iterations of The Joker that feel less artsy like the Joker Film looks.

Oh cringey as ****. I think Heath ledger played the best Joker in terms of the Super Hero Villain version but Joaquin played the part he was given in the Joker outstandingly. It wasn't a case of him not suiting the role, he suited what he was playing even if people didn't like the film supposedly being the Joker origin. I'm still not even sure if he was ever supposed to be the Joker from the comics or was his story supposed to have inspired the Joker becoming the Joker (if you get what i mean)

I suppose it does depend on if you can get past the fact that it doesn't feel like a Superhero Film.
To me I think I'm gonna find it hard to readjust when I do give the Film a chance, where as for me I was controversially perfectly fine with the Venom Film because despite there being changes it still felt like a Superhero flick.
I'd probably be more okay with Joker if it weren't related to The Joker at all.

Probably Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes. Just seemed far too soft hearted for the role

Just go in to it thinking it's not a superhero film, it is really good (if a bit disturbing)

He won the best actor Oscar for that performance. It's an iconic performance, so much so that when someone says "The Godfather" people immediately think of Brando rather than the lead star Paccino.

Wasn't that movie less about Diana's legacy and more about a particular romantic relationship she had ?. I haven't seen the movie, but the trailers didn't look appealing to me .
