Do you use disposable nappies?

They take 500 years to disintegrate once dumped in the earth.

Re usable ones can be washed repeatedly.

Marsh.

4 fully grown trees are needed to keep one child in nappies for its duration.

Our first was a clothbum and we intended the same with the 2nd but we got lazy after like a week and switched to disposable :hehe:. See it's all well and good keeping on top of that **** (literally) when the little cherub is your only focus. Easy peasy! But when you have multiple kids... :worry: who has the time, space or energy for washing and drying 10 cloth nappies every day?

It's not too bad when they're just on milk you just soak them and rinse them through a couple of times before you chuck them in the wash.

... ... .. when they start on the solids things start to get a bit more interesting :joker:. We had a dedicated "poop spatula" in the bathroom.

That has only happened once for each of mine. It seems like all babies experience this intense explosion at some point in their lives and it's honestly one of the biggest gag inducing experiences ever I feel like saying I'm a celebrity get me out of here :joker:

I was once lay on my back on the couch, holding my eldest in the air above my head and lowering her down for kisses on the nose, a fun, giggly time for everyone, so cute, such sweetness...

...and then she was sick in my mouth. After that, nothing really comes close in terms of being grossed out as a parent.

I thought this involved another **** explosion to begin with.

I must say I am very relieved to have finished the paragraph.

That would have been worse to be fair, yes. Really it was only horrible in a psychological sense - she was still only having milk at the time and she'd just been fed so it was pretty much just warm milk. Still... not my favourite snack ever.
