That’s wise of you
I haven’t and won’t be going this year
Do you remember the man and the woman that was hit and killed by a speed boat a little while back in Italy?

Families finally realising uk is best for family time.

Certainly won't be even thinking of doing so, not this year or next year either.

No.
I was planning to go to LA/Vegas/New York or somewhere like that for my 30th last June but obviously that was like peak lockdown.
Then I spent my “travel money” on a new car so… Might be a while before I get there.
Hoping to have a few city breaks in the not-so distant future though, both UK and abroad. Amsterdam would be interesting.

We'll go back to the UK for a bit in two weeks! We haven't been there in ages and my husband misses home in Scotland so we'll have a good time before coming back to France again in a few months.

no, never going abroad anymore, covid or no covid pandemic
am going on holiday to Veluwe here next week for a few days, basically from Monday to Friday but since you can only get into bungalow monday afternoon very late and to avoid busy crowds with check ins, we decide to go tuesday earliest in the morning
also saw weather is quite nice next week bit of an after summer, around 24C, 25C

I've been going to the seaside here in the UK.
Visited so many places I've never been before. It's been amazing. But I miss my family

We'd like to get to Texas to see my OH's family before the end of the year but we'll wait and see what happens.

Haven't even been to England since the start of the pandemic. We may have to brave it at some point soon as my wife is getting concerned that if we don't go soon she'll never get to see her very-elderly grandparents again.
The overall numbers are no different to here but her family lives in a much more densely populated area than us, so the covid risks are higher. North of England (Lancashire) also which has been a frequent and notorious hotspot.

 I'm a big fan of Italy in general, have you been to Sardinia as well? If so which of the two would you recommend?

No.
But our son and his wife have just had 7 weeks in Spain.
They were supposed to be doing Europe but ended up travelling around Spain as restrictions altered their plans.
