Former WCW/TNA wrestler Daffney has passed away.

I’m so gutted she was always a favourite of mine, especially back in the last days of WCW.

She took her own life last night after a harrowing live video on Instagram. She was just 46 years old. Heartbreaking.

was an American professional wrestler, valet,
and actress, better known by her
ring name Daffney.
She is best known for her appearances with
World Championship Wrestling between 1999
and 2001 and with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
from 2008 to 2011]


[On July 19, 2011, Spruill was arrested in
Hillsborough County, Florida for "driving under
the influence with property damage".
Spruill later pleaded guilty to the charges
and was sentenced to one year probation and a fine of $1,580.


Death
During an Instagram Live video on September 1, 2021, Spruill
appeared to have a pistol, threatened suicide,
and expressed her wishes to have
her brain sent for CTE testing.
She was found dead the following day.

The pairing of her and Crowbar (and David Flair for a while) was the best thing about the last few years of WCW. I thought they were fantastic.

This is how I’ll remember her. Loveable, screaming lunatic.
