I've heard rumblings of this too, different stories about what it would entail and to what extent though.
people are done with restrictions now, they wont be effective in the future. It would be better to improve the vaccines so that they are more effective against the variants of concern

Trump in full battle-armour is going to have to descend from the skies to save us from the nanite-army? :worry:

Well it all depend on the NHS if there are not overwhelmed then no lockdown but let's face it the NHS is always overwhelmed in the winter so 100% there be a lockdown how many or how long and what the lockdown means are the only questions
If the NHS make a public announcement the bad haircut pm will have to act

well they cant blame anything on children as public health England have stated kids dont spread it and if they get it its very mild or no symptoms
and the NHS have had plenty of time to prepare this time
so not sure what fake excuse they could roll out this time?

Plus as Majid just said on LBC we now have good evidence that shows lockdowns did not work and caused more harm

Plus Wales has a circuit breaker in Oct last year which essentially did diddly squat so they can do one

that almost confirms they have plans tbh
we have no idea how things are going to go, the experts were predicting huge increases in infection when restrictions ended and it just didn't happen. To me, it's a case of, experts saying it didn't happen then, but it will this winter and so on. They have no idea at the moment what will happen, so, yes, have contingency plans, but just because there is a contingency doesn't make it happen
