With another (potential) lockdown on the horizon, what things do you remember doing during other lockdowns that kept you afloat mentally?

I was going into work for most of Lock Down anyway so it wasn't a massive change

I technically didn't but we were very, very quiet for the start of it all (because our work involves a lot of engagement with other professionals and everyone was either not in work, or in work but totally lost their heads for a bit) so I was doing more or less nothing for a chunk of March and most of April. Luckily in financial terms we work on several-year-long contracts so we weren't at any actual financial risk while people pulled themselves together.

It was only an issue with that very first lockdown though, things continue as normal whether it's lockdown or not these days, the whole world has gotten used to working remotely when necessary I think.

Yeah we were very quiet too when i was working from home. It was pretty quiet for a good chunk of 2020 and early 2021 but we've been steadily picking up again

i like to count toilet rolls during lockdown :flutter:

"Day 37, I have only 7 rolls left. I heard a disturbance next door late last night - when I pressed a glass to the wall, I could hear that somewone there has a stomach bug. They have none left, and they know of my supply. Drums, drums in the deep."

TV Shows, Friends & Family, Sports, Video Games, Porn/Hentai (although not the Lolita ****) and of course the Internet.

Also Manga.

Basically I've done alot to pre-occupy myself during the Pandemic.

Pretty much normal life for me.
Talking to friends and family on the phone or FaceTime rather than seeing them in person, seeing more of my daughter than we have in years as she moved back up here.

I had a young baby and was pregnant during last year's lockdown and had two small babies during the second. Actually, it was pretty idyllic for me. My husband got to work from home so he was here too. I wish everyone who starts a family had the same kind of time to be together.
