Why does your rugby team have a different national anthem to your football team?

I prefer the rugby one much better by the way.

Also, you probably prefer the Rugby one because you can understand it, ours is as Gaelige [emoji854]

I thought that was probably the reason, but I thought you didn't get along with the North enough to be on the same team, I always thought the rugby team was a Southern thing. You live and learn.

Why do you think we don't get along with Northern Ireland? We get on very well with them. We have a good few all-Ireland Sports. Obviously GAA & Hurling is all Ireland and has Northern Irish Teams. Boxing is all Ireland and so is Golf off the top of my head. Hang on a sec -

Many sports are organised on an all-Ireland basis, for example American football, basketball, boxing, cricket, curling, Gaelic games, golf, hockey, lawn bowls, korfball, rowing, rugby league and rugby union, in which case the international team is usually referred to simply as "Ireland"

Also it's the Republic of Ireland not Southern Ireland, the most Northern part of Ireland is in Donegal which is in the Republic of Ireland
