she is well happy at this 4 day flight, tonight.
[When Hayley Arceneaux was just
10 years old, she was diagnosed
with bone cancer.
She received treatment at
the St Jude Children's Research Hospital,
including chemotherapy and a limb-saving surgery.
This surgery involved replacing her knee

SpaceX launches first Arab woman on private flight to International Space Station
Samuel Osborne

Sunday 21 May 2023 22:51, UK
SpaceX's second private flight has launched passengers, including Saudi Arabia's first female astronaut, to the International Space Station.
The SpaceX Falcon rocket launched from NASA's Kennedy Space Centre on Sunday night.
The crew will be led by a retired NASA astronaut who now works for the company, which arranged the 10-day trip.
It is the second charter flight organised by Houston-based Axiom Space.
The company would not reveal how much the latest tickets cost, but previously cited per-seat prices of $55m (£44m).
Saudi Arabia's first astronauts in decades are Rayyanah Barnawi, a stem cell researcher, and Royal Saudi Air Force fighter pilot Ali al-Qarni.
Rounding out the crew is John Shoffner, a US businessman who started his own sports car racing team, and Peggy Whitson, who holds the US record for most accumulated time in space at 665 days.

I watched it fly overhead about 20 minutes ago.

[ Trump joins Musk to watch Starship test launch
President-elect Donald Trump joined Elon Musk
in Brownsville, Texas to watch the sixth
test launch of a SpaceX Starship spacecraft.
SpaceX was reattempting an operation
where the rocket booster is caught
in a landing dock on its return to Earth,
which was achieved for the first time
during Starship's fifth test flight.
But due to an issue, SpaceX aborted
the plan and the booster splashed
down in the Gulf of Mexico,
after just minutes in the air.]

Thursday/Friday
SpaceX Starship test fails after Texas launch
[The latest test of Space X's giant
Starship rocket has failed,
minutes after launch.
Officials at Elon Musk's company said
the upper stage was lost after problems
developed after lift-off from Texas on Thursday.
The mission came hours after the
first flight of the Blue Origin New Glenn rocket system,
backed by Amazon boss Jeff Bezos.
The two tech billionaires both want
to dominate the space vehicle market.
"Starship experienced a rapid unscheduled
disassembly during its ascent burn.
Teams will continue to review data from today's flight
test to better understand root cause,"
SpaceX posted on X.
"With a test like this, success comes from what
we learn, and today's flight will help us
improve Starship's reliability."
SpaceX's Starship system had lifted off
from Boca Chica, Texas, at 17:38 EST (22:38 GMT)
in the company's seventh test mission.
The Starship upper stage separated
from its Super Heavy booster nearly
four minutes into flight as planned.
But then SpaceX Communications Manager
Dan Huot reported on a live stream that
mission teams had lost contact with the ship.
In a webcast, SpaceX's Kate Tice said:
"At this point in time,
we can confirm we did lose the ship."
"We always knew that excitement is
guaranteed today, success not guaranteed,"
she added.]

showed the Rocket half engine landed in the Chops Sticks
all fine.
But then as the rest went onwards
they lost all the signals, (again) sadly.
[Elon Musk's SpaceX Starship rocket spiraled
out of control and exploded in space,
sparking flight diversions
and air traffic chaos as debris falls from the sky.
It marked a disappointing end to what
appeared to be a successful launch,
as the billionaire works toward
his goal of sending humans to Mars.
A ground stop has been ordered
across airports in Florida,
including Miami, Orlando,
Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale,
as a result of the explosion as debris
plummets into Earth.]
[These missions would also have no crews,
just like Monday's planned flight test,
and would see if the vehicles could
successfully land on Mars.
Musk noted he's hoping his company will launch
a total of five starships to Mars in 2026.]

But then No Signal

SpaceX, the private space company
owned by Elon Musk, sent up its
eight Starship test flight.
As pioneered by the company,
the launch tower successfully caught
the rocket booster, but the rocket
itself spun out of control.
It is the second consecutive
Starship test flight failure.]
