Are you a stoner who wakes-and-bakes all weekend with snacks and takeaways on the go or are you more of an outdoors-y/meet-with-mates type?

Now I no longer work weekends...Saturday is either catch up with friends day or catch up on telly day with a Saturday Night Takeaway. Sunday in the Summer months is BBQ or a drive out day and in the Winter its a football in the Morning followed by Sunday lunch at home or at a local pub...
...but not today because I am recovering from Covid.
Depends how close to pay day it's been or is.
I go mental first week or 2, and do about 4 of those items available.
Maybe drop down to 1 or 2 as pay day approaches.
Get well soon rustic, kick its nasty bottom like us men, who have been living with this type of flu for years and years.

I’m just about staying zen and relaxed during the weekend. I have my extroverted moments but for the most part I tend to be one of those Netflix-marathon types. I catch up with mates in the flesh at least once or twice during the weekend so there’s always something outdoors-y for me to do (being quite the casual drinker helps with that) but being an introvert-leaning ambivert I need time to do my own thing. Sometimes I’m not sure whether to have an outdoors-y or indoors-y weekend. It just depends how I’m feeling.

Saturday family time mostly, Sundays is mainly taken up with the weekly shop/getting kids school stuff organised etc... it's probably my busiest day of the week :joker:.
We used to like going for dog walks / going to the beach / general outdoors things but that's been ****ed recently because of my foot. Sigh. So most weekends we've been going for long drives/taking picnics etc.

It's not the post, the post is great.
It's just that choice about weddings just jumps out of nowhere.
I've voted anyway for you poll statistics.:wavey:

My weekends now are mainly being a taxi service to various, football matches, athletics meets, school prep etc etc. If I'm lucky, I'll squeeze in drinks once in a while if I have a sitter.
I (sometimes) miss the days of weekends starting Thursday evenings with approx 2 hours sleep between then and sunday

Ehhhh DON'T get me started :joker:. It's a mess really, the break was small but in a complex place and I basically tore/ruptured every tendon and ligament in my foot and they're not healing brilliantly, possible that I'll need surgery eventually. I've had three rounds of X-rays and a CT scan, I have another consultant orthopedics appointment tomorrow to go over more CT results. It's been 3+ months

It doesn't help that the NHS is in a worse state than I thought with all the Covid delays, it takes 2 weeks to get one appointment, and then 2 week wait for a scan, and then 2 week wait for the appointment to discuss the scan... and so on...
I can hobble about OK in a boot (one of these big bastards below, it weighs an absolute tonne, I call it my Thanos Boot) which is fine at home and I can even limp my way round a supermarket now which is better than nothing, but I basically can't walk anywhere outdoors because the surface has to be perfectly flat or my foot will flex backwards and cause shooting pains. Would just like to go for a walk on the damn beach :bawling:.

This is the best I have felt for 5 days...Thursday I got up for 2 hours and had to go back to bed...only ever done that once in my life before. On weds night I hardly slept because I had the worst headache ever and actually thought my head was going to explode...I have had no taste or smell since Weds morning which prompted the Covid test...I have been Nauseous throughout/upset stomach/blocked sinus and yesterday it went to my chest but fortunately not as bad as I was preparing for...I did get a bit scared and had a couple of tears.
Anyway had another dodgy nights sleep last night and felt so sick again this morning...and SO WEAK. But now within hours I feel almost back to normal apart from the energy levels and no taste or smell...If I'm honest I didnt think I was going to feel that bad considering Ive had both jabs....
Lol....sorry you did ask

Poor you....the Hospitals are inundated and so much to catch up on. They say torn Tendons are worse than a break. Lets hope that when your turn comes the damage is still repairable...

No set routine.
Always manage an extra hour or 3 sleep in, unless anyone is coming round on the morning.
Up earlyish yesterday as builder was coming round for 10.
Up for a late brunch today as daughter, son and their partners were coming for takeaway this evening.
Daughter in law is back off to America on Wednesday and son has booked himself into some place down south for two or three months, so it was good to see them.

Used to be hectic were Saturdays anyway.
Sunday I've always tried to ensure were very quiet.
Since this pandemic however then weekends have just been been more quiet definitely.
