Do you keep trying it in the most awkward positions until it really-and-truly packs up or do you replace it as soon as it starts charging slower than normal?

We’ve got so many phones and gadgets between the four of us there are usb-c and apple lightning cables coming out of our ears so it’s never really an issue. I find they don’t break as often these days anyway - MicroUSB from a couple of generations back was an absolute nightmare though. Practically had new cables coming from Amazon on monthly subscription.

I'm a wrap it round, angle it and prop it up kind of girl.....wouldn't mind but I have loads dotted about the house but the one in the kitchen (which I use the most) is useless....it takes ages to find the sweet spot where it charges but I insist on having the daily battle

As soon as they start to fail or fray I chuck them out .

That said we get replacements from one of the pound shops - they last a few months at least .

I use wireless now but my old chargers did not break because I am super careful inserting and using them - end of.

When I've had it a while usually.
Always have spares anyhow.

I've never had a faulty charger and up until last year had never had a scratched or smashed phone etc but I dropped my old phone and it damaged the screen slightly I was raging [emoji23]

I've broken every smartphone I've ever had :fist: I'm currently using an iPhone XS with a big crack across the screen.

I've had one that I didn't break actually, my Galaxy S7, but it ended up with horrendous screen burn. My daughter's S9 went the same way. I reckon it's a Samsung problem.

I just replaced the screen on my Samsung. Not too difficult a repair, now it's good as new.

When it stops charging I replace the cable rather than the charger and that usually fixes it.
