TV service hasn't worked for a few weeks now, most channels are either scrambled like a bad 1990 coat hanger TV ,or they're completely blank with a stupid message saying "no signal error code blah blah".
I have rang VM a million times, but there's never a human it's always a silly robot recorded voice, they always pretend they're testing my services but as usual it never does anything.
I think they've messed up somewhere but won't take responsibility as they were "working in the area" for some time. They use to say things will be working fine in the afternoon . But now they keep fobbing off by saying they'll try rebooting or that there's no fault on their side . nothing ever solves the issue.

Go through to the I want to leave option onnthe menu...they will get it sorted. VM don't care about existing customers until they say they are leaving

That figures  .
Thanks Annie ,I might try that . But I hope it doesn't affect my broadband, as that actually works. It's just the TV I'm having problems with.

They’ll make you ask ten times then forcefully insist before they’d actually cancel, they have entire departments devoted to retaining customers who are trying to leave… you definitely can’t leave by accident.
All companies are like this these days. Best one I’ve had recently was when I switched energy supplier - the previous one sent me a text saying “We’ll give you £100 if you stay”. Literally just bribing people at this point :joker:.

I couldn't find the option to opt out of VM, I tried some other things but still no luck. I think the only option I have now is to try a customer service line.
But I've noticed there's never a human being willing to help with these faults anymore. In the past technicians would drive to your house and replace or fix the box in person.

I’ve only been with VM once, in the house I shared with friends at Uni (so about 14 years ago lol) and they were trash back then as well, terrible customer service. One of my housemates had a friend who worked at Sky and he got us a full sky package + broadband for something like £25 a month… totally dodgy as they were only meant to use that deal for retaining very long-term customers but loads of staff just gave them out to their pals :joker:. Sky also bought out the remaining VM contract so we could cancel early.
