Pity it'ss not a death penalty state.
They should make it a law in america that you can be tried under one nation law for crimes like this.
Deep Mississippi punishment though.

I remember the documentary about all this from a few years back with families of some of the girls still living with him at the time - really, really strange stuff. It was so obvious that very dodgy things were going on.
He should have been locked up years ago, he was "in a sexual relationship with" (i.e. abusing) Aaliyah from when she was 14 onwards and countless people knew all about it.
the american system is weird. This has been going on for years. That TV interview he did recently to plead his innocence should have warranted a mental health order at the very least, but nothing happened

Well he does believe that he can touch the sky.
In all seriousness though, why would he want to do this? Going away from the morality aspect, did he not realise that there was a reasonable risk to being caught being a sick ****?
He's just the first

Isn't it weird how most people knew R Kelly was sleazy ,some TV shows & movies even made jokes about it all.
And now he's actually being found guilty after all this time of it being ignored.

That was always baffling to me how he got away with it , poor Aaliyah isn't around anymore to give her side of the story. She died far too young.
Most states in America claim to be strict about marriage under 18 ,but then there's disturbing cults that marry underage girls anyway.
