They just said they're experiencing high demand.
I wonder if people are panic buying again or is the lack of the lorry drivers

what were they empty of though, anything you needed? I can't say I have had to go without anything I needed apart from TR and eggs at the start of the pandemic

I would think its lack of Delivery
A Error
I see a lot of people and the media saying stuff like this and that there's worse to come, I've yet to experience it myself

Here we go again .
And what makes it worse is the media scare mongering.

Just been to Aldi and shelves packed
I have noticed more empty shelves but yet to see anything very drastic, really our amount of choice with our food these days is so vast that a few products being unavailable shouldn't be too big a disaster
A lot will depend what time you go as well, if you're shopping at night Vanessa then availability will be worse

have you experienced any food shortages GH? I have seen empty shelves like bin bags, but then there are other brands beside them or bottled water is another example where they are out of a particular brand but you can buy an alternative

The Grocer cuts thru the silly political fingerpointing:
The real causes of the HGV driver shortage and why we can’t blame it all on
Brexit
The HGV driver shortage has escalated to crisis point. As multiple theories
circulate over the underlying cause, The Grocer has sourced exclusive data to
uncover what’s really driving the issue

Tbh yeah I have noticed some supermarkets & shops being out of stock of some items , weirdly there was a water brand i couldn't get but it's back in stock for now.
I've sold my window cleaning round and have just started a job this week at a supermarket warehouse as a picker. I can tell you that the warehouses are stacked high with goods.
Don't worry, Alf will get your food out to you.
