So, we have this family curse, where every time we go away on holiday in the car, we have car problems. These have included dead battery, window stuck (when down), a sticking clutch, a sticking accelerator pedal, amongst others…

…we’re away this week, and as we were about half way through the journey, I said “At least the new car has broken the curse!”.

Half an hour later we hit a ****ing MASSIVE pothole! Everything seemed fine, carried on the the holiday house, had another check, bulge in the tire side wall :bawling:. £130 for a new tire. The curse is clearly still with us. And I’m going to SUE THE COUNCIL. £130 for the tire and £2000 for emotional distress.

The car is only 6 months old so it was a practically new tire that got wrecked :oh:.

you have to take a photo of the pothole because if the council get a complaint, they send the team out to repair the road and then say "what hole". That's based on personal experience

I hit a pothole when I had a mini....it completely wrecked the top mount of my suspension. I tool it into a local garage and he knew exactly where I'd done it as he had had other cars in with probs from same place. 2 days later the hole was fixed and I had no evidence if it. Grr :fist:

Get your tracking done as now it will be fecked and you dont want the new tyres to start wearing out on the ends (£20 job)
