we have an existing thread where you can insult someone who has an opinion?

I can’t believe he spent nearly 12 minutes ranting about it

The irony, you not only watched it you made a thread about it.

Sheriff still obsessed with members instead of the topic. I’m flattered

As a fully certified comic book nerd, I hate people like that :joker:

I will admit I'm in the "don't change characters' gender/race/sexualty, make new characters" mindset, but that's literally what they did here :joker: well, Jon has.been around since 2015, but he spent most of that as a ten year old, until his age-jump.

I agree, I dislike attribute-swapping of established characters but being angry that a character is being introduced as gay can only be an expression of “not wanting gay characters at all”. Straight up homophobia.

Don’t bite the hand that feeds you
Otherwise you will starve from a lack of attention.

Yeah i agree, it's not dissimilar to the way some of these people rant anytime there's a female lead in any of the Marvel movies

the thing was explained pretty clearly, it's not even superman. Who really takes what is a work of fiction that seriously

He actually argues against his own point in his own video :joker:. Part of his argument is that people are upset that "an established character has been changed". Another part of his argument against the whole thing is that "young people/children can't possibly know these things about themself yet and are being lead in certain directions".

... ... ... so the established character, not established as having any interest in other men (because he was young), has grown up and discovered that he is also interested in men. That's exactly what the guy in the video says he's totally fine with! :joker:. They didn't "turn a character bi", they had a developing character discover another side of themself. It is clearly completely different to his horrified rants about "what if they turn Bruce Wayne gay???". It WOULD be very odd if they took a 40+ year old man who has had multiple relationships throughout the years all with females and suddenly said he also likes men, I totally appreciate that that's retconning and understand why it annoys people, but it's just not what's going on here. Late teens/early 20's would be a perfectly normal age for someone to be exploring bisexuality.

I haven't watched Captain Marvel yet, but I remember her Film causing WWIII on here.:joker:

Tbf I don't know how much of it was Misogyny or if the Film is just ****, but it did make me laugh.

With the controversy around Superman's Son being Bisexual, I honestly don't get it, it's not Clark himself being rewritten but a 10 year old being aged up to be Bisexual.

Imo as long as the Romance isn't bigger than the Superhero stuff it should be fine.

Just to clarify I'm not a big fan of the Romance genre.
