Minor annoyances

the other one is 'the floor' think this is a British thing, the floor is indoors if you fall outside it is the ground

I say this. Sick makes me think...sick. As in puke. So other kinds of poorly are poorly instead of sick.

Was in a hospital a few weeks back in the lift and their 'ground floor' was 1 floor above the actual ground floor. So ground on the lift panel was actually the 1st floor. Had me a little confused.

Only British people though, as it is the normal way Australians talk.

I do that :laugh: I try not to as I have been told before that its annoying. Seems one of my autopilot things though that takes time to change

ending on an upward inflection means you are either asking a question or not finished talking yet. The same rules actually apply naturally in music. A music passage never ends on a high note, it always resolves to the low root

Those bloody loops you get on cloths to hang them mainly on tops etc, I always cut them off, they are such a pain in the ass, I also hate clothes hangers and wires, they ALWAYS seem to get hooked around each other, hate litter dropping too, oh so many things, think im becoming a bit more intolerant about things,lol.
