[8 people have died and scores of people
have been hurt after a crowd surge on
the opening night of a music festival in Houston, Texas.

Panic broke out after the crowd began
to press towards the front of the
stage at Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival,
emergency officials said.

Eleven people were taken to hospitals
in cardiac arrest and eight died.
Some 300 people were treated for injuries
such as cuts and bruises at the event,
attended by 50,000 people.

Local politician Lina Hidalgo, county judge
of Harris County, described what had
happened as an "extremely tragic night".

"Our hearts are broken," she said. "People go
to these events looking for a good time,
a chance to unwind, to make memories - it's not
the kind of event you go to where you
expect to find out about fatalities."]

obviously wasn't sufficient safety/crowd control in place. Get the organisers in court

In this day and age that a 50,000 crowd could surge forward like that is inexplicable

If he was revived with Narcan (naloxone) then he was injected with heroin or, if he passed out instantly, more likely fentanyl.

Needle assaults seem to be becoming much more common, scarily enough.

Yes! We need some people with the knowledge to explain this, it all looks very dodgy.

Travis Scott concert: Child, 14, among eight killed
after crowd surge - as police reveal security
officer 'injected in neck'

[A 14-year-old child was among eight people
killed following a crowd surge during
a performance by rapper Travis Scott.

A 16-year-old also died in the
disaster at Astroworld Festival in
Houston, Texas, on Friday,
the city's mayor Sylvester Turner said.

The mayor told a news conference
on Saturday there were "a lot of unanswered questions"
about the cause of the tragedy.

A criminal investigation is now under way.

However, police confirmed an incident
at the event where a security officer
was left unconscious after apparently
being injected in the neck by a concert-goer.]

The Police are not after him.Who are you, his lawyer? His spokesman? You're just a government media parrot.

Lots of people are calling for his arrest and for him to be charged.

Step out of your echo chamber once in a while and you might just see a different opinion or two on things.

Lay it on the Line, Alf.You was wrong on the facts that Trump colluded with Russia. It's now Hillary's people being looked at.

I assume you was wrong in saying that 2 jabs would buy back our freedom from Covid. How's that one going?

Alf

There's gonna be an investigation to this story, but you believe that you already have the facts. Where as I am putting things out there so that we can do our own investigations.

Why would I trust anything the media says when they have a past of being untruthful and have been proven to cover up child grooming and rape. They're not my kind of people.

Out of context and sometimes completely falsely though… you can’t trust a social media narrative any more than a mainstream press narrative. You have to piece together the truth from various sources and what seems realistic/logical.

Remember at the start of Covid when Social Media was full of videos of people “collapsing in the street” in Wuhan… which were found to be from years earlier and of random things like people having heart attacks.

Easy to show something out of context with a sentence saying “This is what you’re seeing here…” and have gullible people buy into it.

Social media videos are the worst for twisting a narrative as they can be edited to show whatever the poster wants with zero accountability

Yep, and sometimes not even edited… all that’s often needed is cutting off ten seconds at the beginning that gave context, and adding in a new context below - “This happened after ______”. Then you see a longer video and the events leading up to the video are completely different to what was suggested.

Also, your average person with a phone doesn't claim to be the truth that everybody should take notice of when infact they're manipulative and dishonest and only push an agenda because they're paid a lot of money to, like the people in the MSM do, and they don't cover things up, it's all out there.

At this point, it's controlled media vs the rest of us, they're no longer providing the service they're supposed to for us.

at least 90% of your issues with the media are with american media which has always been subject to lesser standards than here in the uk. I do agree that the msm shouldn't be followed like a sheep, they do come out with an amazing amount of ****e, but it's up to individuals to find sources that they trust and verify them against other trusted sources. The issue is actually the gullibility of readers more than anything else

But it's our media that covers up child grooming gangs whilst at the same time calling us all racists. It's our media that shows obsessively a few morans protesting the climate while it deliberately doesn't cover 10s and 100s of thousands of citizens protesting government Covid mandates. Our media is corrupt as can possibly be.

I disagree with that actually, the vast majority of the time if someone is recording things and posting it on social media, they have an agenda. The agenda isn’t money but is usually their political or social leanings and wanting to “prove a point” that convinces people to see the world their way… just as toxic and dishonest as doing it for profit tbh.

We can only do that by talking about it and learning from each other. Between us all, we can quickly work out what is fake and what stands up. The problem seems to be people afraid to talk about certain things, basically self censoring themselves when infact they have the freedom to speak and the law is on their side on that.
