I'd be interested to see Shapiro debate someone who's not a dumb teenager who doesn't know anything.

CBA to watch the video as I find him annoying, but I doubt either of them say anything we've not heard a thousand times before... But still, with a debate like this Shapiro will obviously be the "correct" one of the two.

Shapiro showed his worth when he stormed out of an interview after calling Andrew Neil, of all people, a leftie, because he can’t handle actually being challenged on a proper stage, he talks a lot, but never says anything of value or substance, he uses words he has little understanding of and he repeats the same tired, repeatedly debunked talking points over and over again, because the brain dead idiots that fawn over him, can’t comprehend any other arguments besides the ones they’ve memorised by heart to post all over Facebook.

The fact that he is one of the major players in the right wing, talking head game, really does to show the level of standard that those people are willing to accept, just because they dislike the same things as them, it’s mind boggling.

And to top it off, his voice is really ****ing annoying.

The video is effectively over because the premise of the question rests on the person asking it's statement that there's a consensus that sex and gender are different concepts (which they are) and then tries to argue that gender critical ideology argues that sex and gender are the same thing (which it does not). Their question and the evidence they're using to back up being on the right on that question is based on their misunderstanding. Everything that follows is largely irrelevant.

I mean the statement that "the scientific community agrees" that sex and gender are different is entirely moot and meaningless; they are different by definition, and the term "gender" is essentially shorthand for "the expected stereotypical features assigned by sex" - which is what Shapiro is trying to get at with his counter-question.

She seemed

1. very angry from the off
2. unwilling to accept any version other than what was going on in her head
3. read out her twitter name as if anyone is interested (maybe that is what was more important than the answer)?

I suspect that'll be the 2020's in a nutshell.

:joker:
I'd forgotten all about that :joker: that's what happens when he debates someone who's not an inexperienced teenager.

She's one of many who would benefit from meditation, and/or other forms of mindfulness. Being such a pot of unpleasant anger isn't good for you!

Sex = whether you're a manner woman.

Gender = a social construct, broadly relating to stereotypes and expectations. Allows people to "identify" as being the opposite of what they are.
