X FACTOR runner-up Ray Quinn is to make his TV debut on the latest dancing reality show.
The singer, who had a No1 album after losing out to Leona Lewis, will be a judge on a new primetime ITV1 programme to be called Baby Ballroom — The Championship.
We revealed that Kate Thornton would present the show, in which six to 11-year-old ballroom dancers compete against each other.
Ray, 18, will be on the panel alongside former child star Bonnie Langford.
The third panel member will be ballroom legend Pierre Dulaine.
He is a huge star in the US and the film Take The Lead, starring Antonio Banderas, was based on Pierre’s life.
Baby Ballroom starts on July 28 and goes out on consecutive nights, just like Britain’s Got Talent.
There will be a live final on August 11. Auditions have been held up and down the country to find the best junior ballroom couples to compete.
Eight pairs will go through to the live final.
A spokesman said last night: “All the couples are fiercely competitive. They are hugely talented at dance having been taking part since they were toddlers, and each couple desperately wants to walk away with the Junior Ballroom Trophy.”
