I had an appointment text through but it's not until the end of Jan so I'll probably go to my local walk in one day in the next few weeks, get it done and out of the way before Xmas.

Lovely nurse popped out and done mine in the car.I'd rather that nurse and all the others were caring for people who were actually sick.

Real sick people are going without care to put paranoid peoples minds at ease.

Yes, probably, if it becomes available here.

Probably the 3rd vaccine dose first, though.

Managed to book in for my booster on Tuesday at my little GP surgery, a whole month before my original given appointment at the big vaccination centre.

Question - my two main jabs were Pfizer but my booster may be different (Moderna possibly) - does this matter at all? Or is protection protection, regardless of brand?

Obviously I'll ask on the day but yeah... ??

I think the studies say they are both effective boosters with all the vaccines but I had Pfizer which I originally had anyway

My local HA have changed from Pfizer to Moderna for all boosters now. A friend who works in a GP practice said its because Pfizer stocks were running lower and they have more moderna.

My booster is today at 2.40
