Today in a box of junk (dead peoples things mostly) i found 2 very nice quality Torpedo Cuban cigars - kept in a ziplock and in a cigar box, 6" long

I already have a good Cohiba Maduro 5 but i will spark up the Torpedo tomoz with a Ledaig 10 whisky and see what unfolds

Just cosy at home as usual - though it's not the same without Jackie Bird :(.

We're letting the eldest stay up until real-midnight this year too - for the last few years we've been sneaking all the clocks forward bit by bit from 6pm onwards, telling her it was midnight at 10.30 and celebrating, then packing her off to bed to do the real countdown at midnight :joker:.

We told her about it a few weeks ago and to her credit she found it hilarious. She's been telling her pals she's been allowed to stay up for New Year since she was 8 :hehe:.

I'm watching the Vicar of Dibley New year episode after that I'm watching the two Still Game Hogmanay episodes and then Till Death us do Part the movie (Alf Garnett in movie form)

I started drinking at 8 o clock and already I'm a bit merry. I intend to be legless come the early hours of the morning. If you can't get pissed out of your skull at new year then when can you?
