To have his up coming Knighthood receded…
unfortunately, it was the queen that asked him to join the club so a petition would do squat

It doesn't surprise me that he's been given this intensely high honour from the Queen herself.
It demonstrates only the wrong selective process of such, now often, some corrupt individuals being given such high honours.
Along with the thinking of those who confer such honours on such individuals too.
Respect no longer rules.
All that does is use power to lose or destroy some of the population of the Nation's lives, then you get major rewards for doing so.

It's baffling as to why Blair is getting a knighthood especially NOW all of a sudden , I have no words to be honest. Very weird timing.
More than 600,000 people have signed a petition calling for former Prime Minister Sir Tony Blair to have his knighthood removed.
The ex-Labour leader, who was in power from 1997 to 2007, was given the title as the New Year's Honours were awarded.
But the petition complains that his role in the Iraq war makes him "personally responsible" for many deaths and accuses him of "war crimes".
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said Sir Tony had "earned" a knighthood.
And a government minister said it was "only right" to reward the former prime minister, who had done "many good things" for the UK.
