In LT's defence, is it like Chibnall's era of DW where every character was brought in to be token's, rather than to be great characters?

I personally am not going to watch it... because while "The Stranger" more or less entertained me through most of it's run, it did feel a bit ... low-budget UK detective mystery drama ... and that was OK for some mindless viewing but the last couple of episodes were utter trash. And not in the good "Eastendersy" way, just poor telly. Not really up for another round.

If you're looking for a good watch I recommend "The Silent Sea" - great little sci-fi one off series. You might find it a bit too woke though LT because for some reason they've decided to make the entire cast South Korean! Bizarre choice from Netflix, they should have at least given Bradley Walsh a supporting role.

I started it last night and I am immediately irritated by James Nesbit being a detective for the 100th time and also he being one for the laydees, does he demand this on his contract :think:

he was on John Bishop last week and I think he has played a detective 15 times on different drams, always in the same manner, hacks me right off :laugh:
