Oh great
It will be the toilet roll situation all over again  .

This government is the worst , even if they have to charge people why does it have to be as much as £30 !!! , that's ridiculous.

I've just read that from March they are hoping to remove the requirement to self isolate after testing positive so people just won't test and go about their lives as if it were flu or a cold

yep, the only testing that will be done is by employers if they still keep that requirement and in those cases they will pay for it

Exactly.

At most it should be a tenner, and at the very worst it should be a tenor.

The £30 number is just speculation I think based on how much the government sometimes spend on the tests

That said its a reminder that nothing is free and even though we've been getting testing on demand there has been billions of taxpayers money spent on making sure that's the case

That would be one test I expect, the £30 is for a pack of 7

Good idea, plastic tax, as all these are disposable one use plastics

They should do the same for surgical masks too, and offer out the reusable ones

Yeah I was basing what I said on this part of the article:

The Department of Health has declined to say what the tests cost, citing commercial contracts. One source has said they can run to 30 pounds ($40.75) for a pack of seven.

But that's probably worth taking with a pinch of salt
